James Pettinger is a professional jazz pianist, working and studying in London, based in the Greenwich area. He is a passionate teacher - he has been teaching for five years in various contexts; in schools, privately, and in other learning institutes, both in one-on-one and in groups. He teaches to a wide range of abilities and interests, including beginner and advanced graded classical music, graded jazz music, and popular music, and teaches from some of his own teaching resources.
James is now in his final year at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he has been studying under some of the best jazz musicians in the UK. He has been gigging around London and the UK, including in some of the top jazz venues in the world, Ronnie Scott's and the Vortex.
