From a family of musicians, Stephanie Legg has recently completed her undergraduate studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, studying with Gerard McChrystal and Mick Foster. Stephanie is enthusiastically working towards a career in solo/ensemble performance and also composition, having had the privilege of performing with musicians such as Tim Garland, Simone Robello, The Guy Barker Jazz Orchestra and contemporary composer Bill Connor. She has also performed in masterclasses with saxophonists such as Vincent David, Antonio Canovas, James Houlik, saxofonquadrat and most recently, Mario Marzi.
As a soloist, Stephanie has performed in venues such as The Sage Gateshead, Newcastle Cathedral, Guildford Cathedral and Waltham Abbey. As part of the British saxophone congress 2011, Stephanie was a soloist in performances of the Philip Glass concerto for saxophone quartet and symphony orchestra.
As a pianist, Stephanie regularly plays and accompanies instrumentalists for charity concerts in the North East of England and around London. Stephanie is very comfortable teaching piano and keyboard to students from very young ages as well as teaching adults.
Stephanie teaches piano for a number of different music agencies across London.
