Born in Magenta,Milan, in 1989, Silvia Zanaboni began studying the piano when she was 13 under the guide of Silvia Peruzzi, student of Alberto Mozzati, one of the greatest Italian Piano Teacher of 20th century.

She did her first piano exam in Novara Conservatory when she was 16. Her talent was noticed by the internal examining Commission, who asked her to apply as an intern student in theirInstitute andshe started the Bachelor Degree in 2007 with Walter Bozzia. She studied chamber music with Mariagrazia Gazzola, student of Altenberg Trio of Wien. 

She performed as soloist and with chamber music ensemblesin Italy ( Dal Verme Theater, Villa Simonetta, Classic Church Festival, Auditorium Bernasconi, Sala Bicchierai of Auxologico Institute, Sala La pianta, Milano Piano City 2013 and 2014…), in Switzerland, France ( for the 2011 Music Festival of Agenais, at the Espace le Regard du cygne of Paris), in Lithuania ( for the 2012 Vivace Vilnius Summer Festival of Music), and in Germany ( Gasthause of Frankfurt University). She also played for Radio Rai2 and in 2011 she was guest artist for ToBeContinued Radio Marathon.

She completed her Masters Degree in Piano Performance at the Conservatory of music in Novara, Italy, achieving distinction with Professor Michele Fedrigotti and at the Bern Hochschule der Kϋnste with Patricia Pagny.

Silvia won several music competitions: Moncalieri Music Competition and Lucca music Competition, Asti Music Competition, Concours National de France- Ville de Strasbourg .She already recorded two CDs, the first one as guest artist, in January 2012 for the 150th Claude Debussy’s anniversary , for the Bern Hochschuleand the second in January 2013 in Paris, with the piano music of Clément Variéras, a young french composer.

Furthermore she worked as a piano teacher in both a private studio(October 2008-to December 2014) and in Music schools ( “La mia nuova scuola di musica” , Arluno, from February 2012 to June 2013 and “ E.Curiel” Secondary School, Cornaredo ,from January 2012-to May 2013). Her students continue to achieve great results - winning various music competitions and succeeding in Conservatory examinations with excellent grades.
