Liesl Adriaans is a Contemporary Vocalist and Instrumentalist, born in Johannesburg, South Africa.She has a background in Classical, Gospel and Contemporary Music, and her influences lie in the soul and jazz genres. She has extensive experience performing in notable venues around the world, such as the Laeiszhalle performance hall in Germany with her church choir, the Royal Albert Hall in 2007, as part of a musical ensemble with her high school, and in many different music venues around London as a solo vocalist. She has been classically trained in Piano from the age of eleven, and trained in contemporary styles in Vocals from the age of fourteen.
Liesl is currently in her second year of BIMM University, studying Popular Music Performance. Following her degree, she hopes to go on to achieving her Masters Degree in Jazz Studies. She has been teaching beginner/intermediate Piano and Singing privately for the past year, and she has taught students from the ages of 3 up to the ages of 14. Liesl has a positive and upbeat energy, and she always aims to ensure when teaching, that her lessons are interactive and as enjoyable as possible, by tailoring her teaching methods specifically to each student.
