Based in London, the Arts Academy is the educational division of The Arts Group Ltd. We are the only organisation in the UK providing our unique one-to-one music tuition for children aged between four and sixteen years old, in the comfort of your own home. Our method is what makes us so unusual from our competitors – in fact so unusual, we believe we have no competition!
Robert Emery realised traditional tuition methods were not achieving the desired result. He set out on a ten year journey to develop the Arts Academy method, providing a positive and fun approach to playing an instrument. Our unique method focuses on separating your child's MusicHour™ into diverse activities, such as using flash cards, playing musical games and using pioneering music software on laptops our professors all carry. Our pupils reach the highest standards in performing, reading and writing music (without the dullness!)
All our music professors are members of the Musicians' Union, have been CRB checked, have £10m Public Liability Insurance and are graduates of the worlds leading Conservatoires. All have been extensively trained to offer our innovative, unique, tried and tested tuition environment which aims to make music fun, educational and interactive.
Robert Emery started playing the piano at the age of seven and by the age of twelve, had progressed his passion forward to teaching others. The following year Robert made his London debut and has since then gone on to forge an international career as a solo pianist, conductor and leader in the field of education.
