Why not create a piece of music that is catchy, powerful and attention-grabbing and 30 seconds long?!The competition is open to anyone aged 11-16 and you can enter in small groups or as individuals.
It doesn\'t matter if you haven\'t composed anything ever before, your ideas will be developed!
You don\'t even have to be able to read music, just send a recording in!Now you’re thinking...what do I win?
Well...
There\'s up to 10 winners and each will get to attend a workshop at the Royal Opera House to develop their Fanfare with a professional composer and musicians of the orchestra from the Royal Opera House.
The orchestra of the Royal Opera House conducted by world renowned Antonio Pappano will record the final Fanfares!!!

Why not pop down to Ravenscourt Park in Hammersmith where theres a fun fair and a huge bonfire and lots and lots of fireworks exploding to your favourite music!
If you don\'t fancy standing in the cold then you could go and listen to Handel\'s Royal Firework Music by candle light at St Martin-in-the-Fields! ...Now thats a truely sparkly twilight!
Trick or Treat?
It\'s that time of year when the little monster in you decides to escape and the witches and dracula\'s make their appearance!
King Edward Memorial Park is hosting an afternoon of Ghost themed activities on Monday 31st October between 3:30-7pm; face painting, arts & crafts, bouncy castle and much more.
Why not get dressed up? There are going to be some wierd and spooky characters walking around so why not join in and get your best witches hat out? or your best pair or bat wings?!
At 6:45 there is a Nightmare in the Park Finale!
So jump on your broomsticks and see what its all about!

Now you have all received our NewsSheet I can now shout out our Congratulations to Lea, our Pupil of the Term! Lea has been learning to play the piano with professor Callista Nurse. Well done Lea!
All the nominations were fantastic which made the decision tough, but Lea came out the winner!
Callista nominated Lea because she always has a great attitude with regards to her learning. Her enthusiasm knows no bounds and she is always keen and game for the challenges thrown her way. Lea’s smile is infectious! Callista commented, She is such a joy to teach – I’m always sad to leave at the end of the Music Hour. A one-girl fireball of dynamism & determination!’.

We are going to be telling everyone and anyone about the Arts Academy and what were all about this September at Kensington Olympia!
The Archant Good Schools Show is on the 16th and 17th for anyone to attend to see the best schools in and around London showcased and we are going to be a part of it!
We have a stand upstairs where you can come and talk to us and chat about Music sessions, instruments or just come and say hi!
Downstairs we have an area where on Friday we are doing a \'Parents Crash Course\' in music.
Has your child ever asked what that squiggly thing at the begging of the music is? or whats that dot with a stick?! Well come along! We\'re doing it on the hour every hour and we\'ll tell you those little things that you dont know the answer to!
On Saturday we\'re doing Test Drive and Instrument! Free 20 minute sessions featuring Drums, Violins, Keyboards, Guitars and many more. For children aged 6-16 years old. First come first served and a free goody bag for everyone who takes part!!
